If we search the net there are many module development guides available. But finding best or most relavent is very difficult. Usually you have read lot of guides to get a better understanding. This is because some of the articles are outdated.

Re: How to configure DotNetNuke (DNN) Blog module
I think it is an important post. But this post should more easy & clear. I hope this post will more easy within a short time.Thanks.
Re: How to configure DotNetNuke (DNN) Blog module
I added the blog to a page then moved the primary blog viewing module by itself to a page/tab and the recent-blog-entries module to the site homepage; Back on the original page/tab where the blog modules were initially installed, I could create a new blog post but all the links to view only refreshed the page I was on (because the module used to view the blog was on the page/tab I had moved it to). The instructions here, under the heading "Most Recent Blog Entries", mentions the Basic and Advanced Settings. I thought (like mukesh posted) that I would find the Module Options menu under Most Recent Blog Entries or as he mentioned "New Blog"... FINALLY I FOUND IT, as so many of you obviously are already aware, it is in the action menu of the primary blog module (the one that displays the blog posts and allows an administrator to create more of the various blog feature/helper modules. Thanks! Submitted By: SteveH
